Our Church is recognized throughout the world for its focus on the family. The family is the most important unit within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is because modern prophets have revealed that we can continue to exist as families even after we die. This means that we can be with those who we love, including our ancestors and children, forever.
In addition to revealing the eternal nature of the family, modern prophets have revealed many truths and principles about how to find happiness and peace within our families. We believe that these teachings can bless all families–especially in a time when many families struggle to find unity and happiness at home. Some of these teachings are found in a proclamation made to the world by living prophets. Other teachings have come through the experiences of Church members as they have successfully applied these principles in their own lives. We hope some of these teachings and experiences can help you.
